Rainy Days & Mondays!

I don't know which makes me more excited ... the fact that Eric Chopin (Winner of BL Season 3) and Seth Word (Finalist of BL Season 2) are here at FR while I'm here or the fact that Eric's wife, Michele, wrote on my blog! Ahhhh! That's exciting! Thank you, Michele. I hope you write again! (hint hint) I told Eric this morning that you had written and he said, "Oh, You're the one that's doing the blog. My wife's been reading it and told me you had said it was going to rain all this week. So, my wife knew to pack my rain gear!" I'm tickled pink over that one!

Today was rainy nasty. It was cold too! It's Stop Sign Hike and I didn't go for 2 reasons. One, My blister and Two, the Rain! I stayed in the gym and did cardio for 1 hour followed by all the machines for another hour! Running to and from classes or our rooms was miserable! It's supposed to be like this tomorrow too! Sucks!

Our days schedule"

7:00 am BREAKFAST (PB&J Panini & Fruit)
8:00 am Leave for hikes (I didn't go, did 2 hrs of gym instead)

12:30 pm LUNCH (Tortilla Soup, Turkey Sandwich & Salad)

4:30 pm Pool (But I took another Kickboxing instead)
5:30 pm DINNER (Chicken & ??? with a Parfait to die for)
6:15 pm Tai Chi (didn't take this as I took the other 2 optional classes)

Pictured above is my trainer/counselor, Tiffany. She's so sweet and cute! You'll love her! Not pictured is Sharron who kicked my butt today in Kickboxing Class! So much so that I took the class twice ... I came here to get my butt kicked! :)

I'm missing my husband and family and animals terribly! I hope you're doing okay, honey, after losing our baby girl of 17 yrs! I can't wait to see you in 2 weeks! xoxo

  1. HA! I made the blog! I am there with you guys in spirit! I wish I could be there in real life. Erik must crack up, he knows me snooping around the internet....I heard all about the fun filled day, the intense kickboxing class, the awesome food and the awful weather!
Im so sorry for your loss. I know its got to make missing home even harder. Stay strong! I cant believe you did no only one but two kickboxing classes! WOW!

  2. Congrats on your loss so far!!

A friend told me about your blog. She going there in a couple months. So I've become addicted to seeing what you guys have had to do for the day.

I would LOVE to see a photo of the PB&J panini. That just sounds delicious. I love seeing the food you guys get to eat. The photos of the wasabi potatoes dish looked fantastic.

Also, after you talking about the treadles I decided to try it at the gym this morning, and WOW I wasn't sure I'd make it through the 1 minute intervals. I was exhausted.

Hope your feet and blisters feel better!!!

  3. Michele ... you're too cute! Thank you for continuing to write on the blog ... Eric's been working hard in classes. He's in my red group. His friend is working hard too. And, I finally get to back out on the hikes tomorrow as I think the blister is where I can start back again! We'll see tomorrow! :)

Colleen ... thank you for following my blog and I'm glad you enjoy it. I'll try to get a pic of the PB&J Pannini for you! :) When you do that treading, make sure you bump up either the speed or the incline or the level each time you change your minutes. It's a killer workout for sure that I'm taking back home with me! :)
